Building History
Boise-based J.E. Tourtellotte and Company, Architects, designed this early, hipped-roofed school for the Boise School District. Symmetrical it had some Colonial Revival elements (quoins, most notably) as well as other features frequently seen in the Mission Revival (its hipped roofs and dormers were common to this new Western style).
