Building History
The Santa Cruz Bank of Savings and Loan, Santa Cruz, CA, operated on Pacific Avenue in 1877. S.A. Bartlett was its president, Frank Cooper, the cashier. (See Business Directory of San Francisco and Principal Towns of California and Nevada, 1877, p. 103.) The bank was still in operation in 1919 under this name.
