Building History

The San Francisco firm of Robinson and Mills, Architecture and Planning, designed this four-building ensemble for the Francisco Bay Office Park Partnership. As originally planned, it was to contain two office blocks, conceived to stylistically reflect neighboring warehouse buildings, and a triangular, a two-floor restaurant building placed between the office buildings and a multi-floor parking garage adjoining the southern tower.

C. David Robinson was the firm's partner-in-charge, while the firm's project architect was Samuel Hanna. Other Robinson and Mills employees who worked on it were Glenn Bauer, Phil Facenda, John Pihl, John Sinclair, and Fred Stark. Raj T. Desai Associates were the structural engineers. Lowney-Kaldveer handled foundation and soils engineering, and Baronian and Danielson were the landscape architects. Webcor Builders, Incorporated, acted as the general contractor.

Alteration

Fagerstrom Engineering supervised the installation of a new chilled water HVAC system at the Francisco Bay Office Park in wither the late 2010s or early 2020s. It web site described it: "Mechanical and Electrical design for installation of new chilled water system with one Multistack Turbocore chiller with a capacity of 320 tons of cooling, forced-draft cooling tower, pumps, piping, and cooling coils. Implementation of code required “Refrigeration Machinery Room Upgrade” including: ventilation system, refrigerant alarm system, emergency shutdown controls, refrigerant emergency release venting, and exiting requirements."
