Overview

Miller Hull Partnership designed the Cafeteria 9-12 for the Boeing Company, its first corporate commission, in 1991. The cafeteria served Boeing's Developmental Center complex in Tukwila, WA, just east of the Duwamish River. The building was sited to have a view of the river for dining patrons.

Building History

By 2010, Boeing had closed this cafeteria. (See Washington, Department of Ecology, Lower Duwamish Waterway RM 4.3 to 4.9 East (Boeing Developmental Center) Source Control Action Plan, December 2010, Publication #10-09-135, [Olympia, WA: State of WA, 2010], p. 13.) It remained closed although still standing in 2024.
