Overview

This small commercial complex consisted of stores and a gas station all designed in a rustic European "storybook" style, perhaps inspired by villages seen in France by architect William Yelland in World War I. It was located in Kensington, CA, near where Yelland had a residence for many years.

Demolition

The Kensington Neighborhood Center was ruined in a fire.
