Building History
El Reposo Sanitarium operated at 2222 Chapel Street in 1909. (See 1909 Polk-Husted Company's Oakland City Directory, p. 959.) This street was filled in by the University of California which built athletic field and gymnasia on or near the street's length between Dana and Ellsworth Streets.
Demolition
El Reposo Sanitarium was razed.
