Building History
Blue Bottle Coffee opened its first coffee shop at this location in 2010 and operated it until 11/2021. The company began in 2002 with a stand at an Oakland farmer's market. It was purchased by the giant Swiss food conglomerate, Nestlé S.A., in 2017. It subsequently opened about 100 cafes around the world.
