Building History
Seattle architect Frederick A. Sexton prepared plans for a house for a client named Davis in 1902, although it is unknown if these plans were ever used. The Seattle Daily Times reported on its real estate page: "Mr. Sexton also opened bids for a $3,000 residence for Mr. Davis, but the award is held in abeyanve for awhile, [sic] as the bids ran higher than was expected." (See "Real Estate and Building Review," Seattle Daily Times, 06/08/1902, p. 32.)
