Overview
A heavily Swedish Lutheran congregation erected this first Salem Lutheran Church in 1922, and remained here until about 1999, when they relocated to a new building. William Aitken, a Scottish immigrant by way of Vancouver, BC, designed the building, one of his earliest commissions. After the Lutherans moved out, two other congregations have used the building.
