Overview
Developed by William Jensen, Jensen Grove functioned as a German beer garden and recreation area, serving Seattle during the 1880s and 1890s. The grove offered lawn bowling, a swimming beach and boat rentals for use on Lake Union. It stood on the southeastern corner of Lake Union.
