Ralph Grunauer and West Coast Theatres financed the construction of the Manchester Theatre in Los Angeles; preliminary plans were supposedly drawn up by the Engineering Department of West Coast Theatres; as noted in the Southwest Builder and Contractor (12/19/1924), plans were completed by mid-December 1924.
