Building History

A member of the Saint Margaret Mary's congregation, William E. Schirmer, Jr., (1889-1957), designed the church, completed in 1931. The church had not been paid off by 1934, as a fund-raising festival was held that year. (See "Autumn Festival Observed at St. Margaret's Church," Oakland Tribune, 12/08/1934, p. 7.)

Building Notes

The Church of Margaret Mary's had a rectory and parish hall on site.
