Building History
The Oasis Motel opened in 1956 at 2200 West Olympic Boulevard just west of Downtown Los Angeles, CA. The motel, which was enlarged in 1960-1961, operated on the southwest corner of West Olympic Boulevard and South Lake Street.

Building Notes
In about 1958, each room at the Oasis Motel could offer a 21-inch television, room telephones, refrigerator, and air-conditioning. Kitchenette units were available, as was a swimming pool.
