Overview
Saint Joseph's Church served its congregation at West Dean Avenue and North Walnut Street in Spokane, WA, in 1897.
Building History
According to the Historic Spokane.org web site, this church was originally completed in 1892. Saint Joseph's did not have a regular, resident priest during its earliest decades. The R.L. Polk and Company's Spokane City Directory, 1897, (p. 555), did not list one in particular. Other priests from the diocese would have taken turns providings services for Saint Joseph's.
Demolition
Saint Joseph's Church #1 burned in 1928, but was rebuilt along the same lines the following year.
