Building Notes
A New York Times reporter said of the house in 2021: "Indoors: The house is built on two levels with no interior connection; one must go outside to move from floor to floor, in a space-saving measure that embraces the area's mild weather. The foyer introduces the main level's teak-panelled wall and end-grain wood flooring. The living rooms has a vaulted ceiling. The main floor also contains the kitchen and a bedroom. A second bedroom is on the lower level, which includes the laundry room and access to a two-car garage. Outdoor Space: The living room opens to a wraparound deck that steps down to the lower entrance. A flagstone triangle offers a seating area for looking out to the Hollywood Hills." (See "What You Get: $2.8 Million," New York Times, Sunday Business section, p. 11.) The house had an asking price of $2.76 million in 2021.
