Building History

In Maxwell's Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1894, there were two listings for McDonald Blocks. One listed "McDonald Block (Old)," at 127 North Main Street, while the other listed a "McDonald Block," presumably a newer building, at 128 North Main. (See Maxwell's Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1894, p. 701.) It was likely located across the street from the Old McDonald Block.
