Overview
C.C. Hastings, who resided in New York, NY, in 1871, operated this clothing store on the southwest corner of Montgomery and Sutter Streets. The firm imported, manufactured and sold retail clothing in that year. (See San Francisco Directory for the Year Commencing April, 1871, [San Francisco, Henry Langley, Publisher, 1871], p. 311.)
Demolition
The C.C. Hastings and Company Store was demolished. The Hunter-Dulin Building stood on the site in 2021.
