Building History

Louis and Clara Lockhardt operated the jewelry store in this brick building that existed for only two years before being burned in the Great Spokane Fire of 08/04/1889. After the fire, Lockhardt retained control of the land and rebuilt a 3-floor office and store building known as the "Lockhardt Building."
