The Colonial House Apartments was originally located within the confines of Los Angeles, but became part of West Hollywood after its incorporation in 1984.

Building History

The architect Leland Bryant (1890-1954), well-known for creating well-crafted revivalistic apartment buildings in Los Angeles during the mid-1920s until the early-1930s, designed the Colonial House in West Hollywood, CA.

Building Notes

Various high-profile Hollywood celebrities have resided at the Colonial House over the years, including Bette Davis (1908-1989), Jamie Lee Curtis (born 11/22/1958), Julia Roberts (born 10/28/1967 in Smyrna, GA), and Katy Perry (born 10/25/1984 in Santa Barbara, CA).
