Overview

The Belding Building stood at 110 North San Joaquin Street in Stockton, CA, in 1920. R.P. Lane was the Secretary of the Charles Belding Company, that operated at 112 North San Joaquin Street. (See Stockton, California, City Directory, 1920, n.p.)

Building History

A five-story high-rise, the Belding Building replaced the Yosemite Cash Grocery Store on the northeast corner of North San Joaquin Street and East Weber Avenue. (See Alice Van Ommeren, Stockton in Vintage Postcards, [Charleson, SC: Arcadia Publishing, 2004. p. 73.)

Building Notes
