Overview

Silicon Valley companies have long competed with one another to produce campuses filled with amenities designed to woo the best and brightest employees. This facility, combining a gymnasium, restaurant and campus food-preparation spaces, was completed by the San Francisco architectural firm of Gensler.

Building History

John Thiele led the Gensler design team as Project Designer for the Oracle Fitness Center.

Building Notes

The fitness facility included a regulation-sized basketball court, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, soccer field, and rooms for spin, step and other aerobic-exercise classes.
