Building History
San Francisco architect George W. Kelham (1871-1936) had the commission to design a club house for the San Francisco Golf and Country Club in about 1916. The Architect and Engineer stated in its issue of 05/1916: "George W. Kelham is preparing plans for a club house for the San Francisco Golf and Country Club to cost $50,000 and to be built near the county line." (See "Country Club Houses," Architect and Engineer, vol.
