Overview

The United Methodist Church of Madera and Grace Presbyterian Church occupied a single, triangular piece of property bounded by Sunset Avenue on the north, West 3rd Street on the east and North N Street on the west. The United Methodist Church had a cruciform plan and stood on the north side of the property, facing Sunset Avenue. Grace Presbyterian was joined to United Methodist on its southeast corner and extended southwest diagonally from it. The two buildings shared a parking lot.
