Overview

The W.P. Fuller Paint Company opened its first headquarters on Occidental Street in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood in 1889. An article in Seattle Post-Intelligencer celebrating the company's 50th year said: ""In modest quarters on Occidental Ave., three employees handles [sic] the materials that are now nationally distinguished in building products."
