Building History

The Seattle architect Tennyson Bellamy designed the main store of the Standard Service Tire Company at Fairview Avenue and Denny Way, completed in 1948.

In 12/1954, the Standard Service Tire Company had five stores: its main store at Fairview and Denny and other Seattle branches at 4th Avenue South and Masschusetts Street, 555 Denny Way, Stewart Street and Boren Street, and 2131 Broadway in Everett, WA. In 1959, stores operated at Fairview and Denny, 4th Avenue South and Masschusetts Street, Stewart Street and Boren Street, 2131 Broadway in Everett, WA, and 205 Logan Street, Renton, WA.
