Building Notes
The Seattle Daily Times published a notice on recent work by the architectural firm of Josenhans and Allan in 02/1905. It stated: "Architect Josenhans & Allen [sic] have completed plans for the new Hemrich brewery building on Railroad Avenue between Washington and Main Streets. It will be a one-story brick and will cost $5,000. The same architects will put up a $13,000 building at Auburn for the Seattle Brewing and Malting Company." (See "Real Estate and Building News," Seattle Daily Times, 02/11/1905, p. 7.) Railroad Avenue would later be renamed "Alaskan Way."
