Building History

Thomas F. Keefe, Sr., owned this property until 1993, selling it on 11/29/1993 to Walthew Legal Associates. Twenty years later, Walthew sold the building on 08/20/2013 to 43rd Avenue Design LLC for $2,750,000. 43rd Avenue Design transferred title to 123 Third LLC on 04/05/2017.

123 Third LLC sold it on 06/11/2019 to Canton Lofts QOZB, LLC, for $5,275,000, in preparation for it to be razed for an apartment building providing housing those individuals earning $61,000 or less and those couples earning $69,500. Laird Norton Properties was initially going to be the developer of this new apartment tower, called Canton Lofts, but sold the project to Nitze-Stagen and Company in mid-06/2019. (See Marc Stiles, "Nitze-Stagen takes over Pioneer Square project," Puget Sound Business Journal, 06/21/2019, p. 7.)
