Overview
A notice in the Engineering and Contracting magazine, 09/30/1914, indicated that Pearson Construction Company of Seattle, WA, had a contract with the Great Northern Railway to build a facility to house postal services: "Pearson construction Co., city, at $30,000 awarded erectio of 2-story concrete and brick postoffice for the Great Northern Railway Company."
