Overview
Completed in 1909, the Lewis Building operated as an office and retail enterprise until 1978, when its second through tenth floors were converted to provide apartments for low-income residents.
Building Notes
In 06/1910, the Title and Trust Company occupied space in the Lewis Building, at the corner of 4th and Oak Streets. (See Title and Trust Company classified advertisement, Oregon Daily Journal, 06/12/1910, classified ad section, p. 8.)
