The address for the Byrne Building is approximate. The San Bernardino, California, City Directory, 1891, (p. 49), noted that it was located on the south side of 3rd Street, between D and E Streets.

Overview

The investor, Matthew Byrne, owned the Byrne Block in San Bernardino's central business district in 1891. It stood where the Central City Mall (later renamed the "Carousel Mall,") was erected in 1972.
