Overview

Managed by George Albers in 1918, the Albers Brothers Milling Company stood at the foot of Massachusetts Street on the Elliott Bay waterfront. At this time, the company also maintained an administrative office in Room #600 of the Arctic Building. (See R.L. Polk and Company'sSeattle, Washington, City Directory, 1918, p. 313.) The firm also had mills in Tacoma, WA, and Portland, OR.
