Overview

The Ruffen Building was in operation in 1891, as was another building known as the "New Ruffen Building." (See San Bernardino, California, City Directory, 1891, p. 140.)

Building Notes

In 1891, three firms of San Bernardino's legal establishment had their offices in the Ruffen Building. Two other firms, those of Andrew J. Felter and Charles R. Gray, had spaces in the New Ruffen Block. (See San Bernardino, California, City Directory, 1891, p. 140.)
