The photographer H.B. Wesner maintained an office in the Burt Block in 1886. (See "Professional Cards," San Bernardino Daily Courier, vol. I, no. 20, 10/20/1886, p. 1.)

In 1891, two legal firms--Robinson and Gird and John C. Christy--leased space in the Burt Block. (See San Bernardino, California, City Directory, 1891, p. 140.)
