Overview
According to the National Register of Historic Places Inventory Nomination form for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Station #2, written in 1981 by Judy Wright, the first depot, completed in 1887, was located "just west" of the second. The first was torn down in 1928 after the completion of the second.
