Overview
In 1891, John W. Considine, a partner in the firm of Considine and Watkins, resided at 1516 9th Avenue in Seattle, WA. Considine, a former actor and policeman, operated the People's Theatre, a "box house" establishment that featured live performances and served as a haven for drinking and prostitution. Considine would later become one of the West's most important Vaudeville impresarios.
