Overview

This residence, built on land that once belonged to Ronald and Nancy Reagan, was erected by developer Michael Manheim of Jaman Properties, a builder of luxury houses. Kathy and Matthew Barrett purchased the estate for $22 million, but they alleged soon after moving in that the dwelling was finished tardily and found to have had 143 "serious construction defects."
