In 1895, the Starr Block was located on the west side of Front Street (later renamed 1st Avenue) between Spring and Seneca Streets.

Overview

R.L. Polk's Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1895, (p. 713) indicated that the city had both the Starr Block and the Starr-Boyd Building operating simultaneously.

The Starr Estate was in operation in 1895, in Room #506 of the Washington Building, with Frank H. Winslow as its agent.
