Owner Jack Mann, Sr., began construction on the Tustin Lanes in 03/1977, and he and his family operated the bowling center for 38 years before his son Alex, who bought the facility from his father in 12/2009, closed it on 10/06/2015. Article reprinted from the Orange County Register.com) At one time, Jack Mann operated five bowling centers, including the Fountain Bowl, Fountain Valley, CA, (1973), Regal Lanes, Orange, CA, (1974), Tustin Lanes, Tustin, CA, (1978), Chapparal Lanes, San Dimas, CA (1989), and the Kona Lanes (erected in 1958, bought by Mann in 1980).
The building became reused as an outlet for the Orchard Supply Hardware chain.
