The Albertson's Supermarket had existed on this location from 1956 until 01/27/2006, when it was closed and its property sold to Green Lake Block LLC, a subsidiary of Trammell Crow Residential, a real estate development firm based in Dallas, TX, with a branch office in Kirkland, WA. Trammell Crow paid $10 million for the property. Trammell Crow and Prudential Financial Real Estate Investors of Newark, NJ, collaborated on the financing of a four-story, mixed-use development, Circa Green Lake, that was constructed between 2007 and 2009.

Demolition

The Albertston's Supermarket at Green Lake was torn down after 07/10/2007 (when a first demolition permit was granted) and before 10/2007, when the debris had been cleared and foundation work had begun. (A second demolition permit was authorized on 09/28/2007.
