Overview

This I-shaped apartment building was designed and erected in the University District in 1923-1924, located south of the intersection of Brooklyn Avenue NE and NE 50th Street. In 2018, this area was in the midst of rapid change with the construction of large, mixed-use, 6-7 story apartment buildings.

Building History

Construction was completed in 10/1924 on the Frederick Apartments, located in Seattle's University District. The building cost $45,000 to build, and was owned initially by Mrs. E.M. Woods. (See "Residence Properties Distinguish Week's Realty Deals," Seattle Daily Times, 10/05/1924, p. 16.)

The Rezabeck Investment Group, LLC, of Seattle, WA, owned this three-floor, wood-frame and brick-faced apartment building in 2018.
