Overview

Following a fire that destroyed lumberman Henry L. Yesler's first sawmill at this location in 1895, this second plant was erected in that year. It operated until the early 1920s.

Demolition

Yesler's second mill at Union Bay, like the first, burned to the ground. It was not rebuilt.
