Overview

Francis L. Scott managed the Hotel Chickasaw in San Diego, CA, in 1921. The hotel had four floors and a large, first-floor lobby. The Hotel Olive, another small inn, stood next door at 936 State Street in what was called San Diego's "Hotel District" in 1918. (See Hotel Olive advertisement, The San Diego Tourist, vol.
