According to R.L. Polk's Seattle City Directory, 1893, p. 413, the Standard Hotel operated at 151 and 1/2 Washington Street.

Overview

The Standard Hotel was in operation in 1893, its manager being William H. Ferguson. At the same time, there was a "Standard Lodging House" that operated in the basement of 203 Washington, about a block away. W. Ellis and his brother managed the Standard Lodging House. (See R.L.
