Overview

The Atlantic Hotel, like the Railroad House and the Metropolis Hotels, had a blue-collar customer base in 1873. The Atlantic operated at 5 North Front Street in 1873. John Donovan was its proprietor. (See Samuel´s Directory of Portland and East Portland, 1873, p. 57.)
