Overview
In 1873, there were two Methodist Episcopal congregations meeting in Portland, OR, one in a church on the southeast corner of 6th Avenue and Hall Street, and the other on the southeast corner of 3rd Avenue and Taylor Street. (See Samuel´s Directory of Portland and East Portland, 1873, p. 233.)
