Overview
The Los Angeles architectural duo of Walker and Eisen drew up plans for this golf and country club to have been site at White Point in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. Announcements for the project were made in late 1926, including one in the Los Angeles Times that stated: "The third of the day's large projects is seen in the announcement of Architects Walker and Eisen that the firm has been commissioned to draw for a $500,000 country and beach club unit to be constructed for the St. Andrews Golf and Country Club at White Point, San Pedro. The structure will be of the low rambling type of architecture built of reinforced concrete, it was said. Financial arrangements for the club have been completed and work is under way on the plans, the architects announced." (See "Hotel Assured for Flintridge," Los Angeles Times, 11/18/1926, p. A10.) The project was never completed.
