Overview
This residence designed by noted structural engineer Jack Christiansen for his own family fused his interest in the possibilities of reinforced concrete structure with the wood aesthetic popular among the Puget Sound School architects of the 1950s and 1960s.
Building History
The noted engineer Jack V. Christiansen (1927-2017) and his family began residing at this address in 1965, and, following his death, his heirssold the property in 2018 for $1.8 million. The property changed hands againon 12/20/2022 for $4,155,700. In 07/2025, it was offered again for a price of $4.4 million. At this time, it contained four bedrooms and four baths and was owned by Steven Brian and Glenna Swanson, Trustees. The house occupied a 2.03-acre parcel.
