Overview
This house was one of three properties at 325, 333 and 339 South Bunker Hill Avenue, built c. 1888 by Rueben M. Baker. Baker rented at least some of these properties for income, but seems to have sold them by the mid-1890s. Although 333's history is not clear, the houses on either side functioned for most of their existences as multi-family rental units. As landmarked properties, the two at 325 and 339 were relocated to the city's Heritage Square Museum area in 1969, but they burned soon after they arrived.
Alteration
As Sanborn Fire Insurance maps indicated, the house at 333 South Bunker Hill Avenue expanded considerably between 1888 and 1906.
Demolition
The residence at 333 South Bunker Hill Avenue was razed.
