Building Notes

The Bel Mar Motel-Hotel's postcard advertised that each room had a free t.v. set, air-foam mattress, thermostatically controlled heat, wall-to-wall carpeting, tiled showers over tubs, "home-like kitchens with utensils and dishes," freezer top refrigerators, c.p. ranges, garbage disposals and tile drains. In addition, the motel contained a laundromat.
