Noted electrical engineer Harold Farley Elliott (1892-1970) and his wife, musican Winifred Estabrook (d. 01/20/1977), had this custom house built in what was then a section of Menlo Park, CA. It later became an incorporated town, Portola Valley, CA, in 1964. Elliott lived here until 1970, while his wife lived seven years longer.
